Haha, I listen to a lot of shibuya-kei and one artist I like in particular is Cibo Matto.
Well in her song Sci-Fi Wasabi she mentioned Obi-wan out of nowhere. It was so random.
Lol if you want to hear it, it's located here in the beginning and near the end.

or another favorite show/movie/book reference?

I don't know if I should post this in the ME Cantina or keep it here because it does have a Star Wars reference, thus it being about Star Wars but we'll also be discussing random other entertainment favorites. I'll just put it in Aush's Cantina for now.

This is old school, but John Fogerty sung a song Violence is Golden where he says "Sell a couple Star Wars missiles, maybe another super laser gun..." probably a mixed reference to the Regan Star Wars program and of course Star Wars.
