Ah, but that's what makes them so special. Wink

Especially considering that I was a little letdown by Abyss. But I believe in Allston. Smile

Tomorrow's the day! I was pretty surprised when I got to the homepage because I had labeled it 'sometime in the future' in my head.

You and me both. Unfortunately, I can't afford the hardcover right now. Here's hoping my library gets it.

I'll most certainly be buying this tomorrow. Kind of sucks having to throw down that much money for a book, but there's no skipping this one. Hopefully Borders will have their usual 30% off sticker.

*sigh* My library doesn't have it. Maybe I'll drive down there and annoy them until they order it. Wink

Well Borders is really ticking me off now. It seems they no longer do 30% on new release hardbacks. Not wanting to wait on Amazon, I wandered over to Barnes & Noble and bought it there (they do 20% off new hardbacks, 30% if you pay $25 dollars for they yearly membership card).

From now on I need to start preordering these off Amazon. It is the cheapest route.

So last night I managed to read up to chapter 9. It's okay so far, but nothing spectacular.

Edit: I just noticed on Amazon that Backlash is only $14.58. That's $2 cheaper than it was yesterday. Pretty good deal.
