Man, I decided to sit down and play Mario today, and I was utterly bored!
I remember how much I loved Mario last time I played it, but after playing Sonic, it just seems somewhat lacking! Sonic was constantly moving, had quite the pace to it, while Mario moves rather slowly. Sonic was also more exciting somehow, maybe it was the music? The colors were more vibrant and out there, too, in Sonic, which made it more captivating. So anyway, now I guess I understand how Sega knocked Nintendo off the charts when Sonic was released with the Genesis one Christmas. It's definitely got something about it that makes it more fun, even if there is no save.
Now I'm seriously contemplating buying Sonic 2. Heh, what a sucker I am for such games. _________________
