Has anyone else sensed this coming? Just wondering.

and there have been several fan fics about it. I'm just wondering if anyone else saw this and has an opinion on it.

Tis possible, but what about the age difference right now? Their love, if it grows, might have to wait a little while. Ben's a little young to have so many older women flirting with him Embarassed

I kinda don't want it to happen because of the age reason that everyone else keeps talking about...age. I really don't want to see her die a miser's death, with the image of Anakin Solo burned into her memory. I just simply don't see that happening. People haven't like the edgier direction that they've been going, and something tells me they may just consider this edgy enough in a couple novels or so.

I would like to see Ben settle down with a nice girl and start the family line that extends to the Legacy comic. But, if you have been following this series, Cade does walk a thin line between Sith and Jedi, it could be possible (could be) that maybe (just maybe) something could happen between the two. I would hope not but you never know.

Just to better understand the issue at hand...Ben Skywalker is around 14 years old. I remember when I was 14 and I could see where he would be interested in Tahiri (minus the Sith thing). But Tahiri is around 28 years old (born 13 ABY, Invincible ends in 41 ABY), for her to be interested in him is just wrong, way wrong. That's child molester territory and I don't think Star Wars wants to go there. When Millenium Falcon hits, Ben will be about 16, Tahir about 30. For them to actually become a couple they'd have to wait until Ben was at least 18, and by then Tahiri will be 32. I guess they could do it then, but that's a rather large time gap, 14 years of difference.

I found that whole interrogation scene very uncomfortable for me. Star Wars, in my opinion, should be good clean fun. As far as the two getting together. No way! Tahiri was only doing that to seduce Ben. And Ben and Seha are meant for each other. But, yeah, that scene was a dissapointment.

The entire scene made sense to me- for Tahiri was thinking of doing anything but kill Ben. She was trying to justify in her head that she would, but she would even seduce him before killing him.

I agree the scene worked - it showed how desperate Tahri was to not kill Ben. I do not see the two getting together anytime soon. A 14 year old jedi with a 28 year old girlfriend sounds little unlikely.

But as my wife always says I have been wrong before. Wink

I don't think that scene was even meant for as foreshadowing...so I agree that no relationship will occur between Ben and Tahiri.

I don't think Ben and Tahiri would go as a couple at all..... That one scene was not romantic. Razz

It wasn't intended to be... And no, I don't think that Ben and Tahiri will be a couple in the future. Their age difference is too great. Personally I hope that Ben marries late and becomes the father of Nat and Kol when he is already an old man, thus eliminating the need of an intervening generation.
