@Caedus: I agree that the realtionship between Daala and Nek is really weird and hard to conceive, however, that's because I'd picture it as a person dating their dog. But, this is Star Wars and this isn't the first time a human has dated a Bothan. That got started in the X-wing series.

so i finally got the book for Christmas, and is to pg.100 (started reading today) its a good book and im really glad i can finally read it.

I highly suggest to all to read the very short excerpt from Conviction when done- it literally picks up from Vortex's ending.

I usually dislike it when books pick up in the exact spot where the last one ended. It makes them feel less like individual books, deserving of my attention, and more like read-once-and-throw-aways. Confused

After reading this particular passage several times, and remembering to keep it in context, I finally came to the conclusion that it wasn't meant to be a joke. However...! That's how I took it, and I actually laughed out loud, which is quite rare for myself. So, thought I'd share:

Vortex is freaking amazing! I haven't read Star Wars this good in such a long time. My faith has been, at least temporarily, restored in full. Very Happy
