You Choose 08'

So, right now we're coming up on Super Tuesday. Who are you leaning towards? Obama? Romney? Discussion of the candidates and debate on 08' issues can be placed here,

Here in Florida we already voted and I voted for Hilary Clinton

I still think she's not the right person, but it is up to you.

I really want Romeny to win, but McCain was boosted by Flordia--most likely all the veterans.

Personally, I like Obama. He seems sincere and a great man for the job. However, I cannot vote, so no one cares what I think...

To be honest, I feel he's a better choice, personality wise, than Hilary. She is very cold lady, who often dodges the tough questions with her now signature chuckle.

The only thing she's brought to NY is higher taxes, and she really didn't so much, if anything, as First Lady to help the country.

I liked Huckabee, but it looks like he may be out now...

Which leaves me with a tough choice between McCain and Romney. They both have their pros and cons, like any political candidate. I'm leaning towards Romney a little more.

As for the democrats, if I had to pick one for president, I'd go with Obamba.

For my caucus, I went with Hilary because she seems like the one who can work well with other countries and improve our image in the world. However, like every candidate in history, there are things I don't like about her but what role do they play in a bigger picture. I like Obama as well, but he doesn't strike me as being as "tough" as Hilary but he could surprise me.

For the Republicans...I have problems with several of them. A few of them are too religious for me to do an effective job in my eyes. I didn't mind Ron Paul because of him being more moderate, and John McCain doesn't seem too bad either. I enjoyed Huckabee's sense of humor with showing up on the Colbert Report and the two have several hysterical moments.

Anyway, just my thoughts. How many of you will be voting in the '08 election?

I'm a Libertarian and will cast my vote for Ron Paul on Tuesday.

I can't go with the Dems because I think some of their policy ideas are too socialist in nature and , in general, bad for businesses.

Not really a Rep either so that leaves me as an independent most of the time.

Hilary all the way! Obama I just don't like for some reason, and I'm not a Republican. Razz

Well, I think a woman becoming President is a cool thing, showing how far our country has come with regards to sex prejudice. However, I just don't think Hilary should be the one.

I am Democratic but because they have the socialist ideals. I believe in helping people, but NOT to support them. Some programs I support, like medical care, but there are even things about that I'm worried about since not all people are trustworthy.

Trust no one, care for all.. That's my motto, and it's a conservative, not liberal, ideal. Hilary supports national health care, which would give the same amount of coverage no matter how much they put forward to it. Fair? Absolutely not.

Half of the programs like medicare, or for a better example, welfare, are horrible programs.. Taking from those you make money and giving to the poor; it sounds nice, but half the people on it are perfectly able to work, they're just lazy.

Socialism doesn't work, although I think Hilary would support it. An individual most support themselves and their families, not other people. People should work for what they earn..
