First off, I can't believe they killed Palleon. He was awesome. The only good Imperial left. I thought for sure we get to see him help Fel build some kind of empire that would bring the galaxy together after the war. To top it off, Tahiri was the one to pull the trigger. She must die. Question will be who gets to do it...I'm thinking Daala, Traviss really built up her character so I think she's going to be playing a big role yet.

And Traviss did an excellent job with meshing Jaina and the Mandos. Great interactions. I loved it. Fett, Beviin, Carid, all enjoyable. Plus now we know that Jusik is Gotab. It's also possible that old Vau had to kill Mird. Poor Mird, I liked him.

Caedus has been a Sith Lord disappointment. He's still a overconfident, cocky, weak little Force user who was totally outclassed by Luke. Too bad Luke didn't take care of business. I did like the fact that he wasn't portrayed as all powerful. He had his limits, even to the point that Carid almost killed him, could have, but was stopped by Boba.

Overall, lots of good things in this book. I actually think this is my favorite so far from LOTF. Even though there wasn't a lot of action as compared to some of the others
there was a lot of story there, dialog and character interaction, all of which I liked. But there is no longer any doubt, I think Invincible will top them all.

Now if only they make a book with the new ships in it. I really want to see these things.

I read this and thought it was awesome! So much action in such a tiny spot. For one, I'm glad Boba will be back. Plus we get to see the Verpine. The mention of the discussion between Boba and Daala sounds like a possible future story arc of its own. But I couldn't help but wonder if Fett is going to survive this book. The battle made me wonder.

In Revelation we see Caedus relying more and more upon droids. He even says he prefers to interact with them. He's got them 'practically' running the government. They're already heading Senate committees. My thought is this, what if all this leads to a droid take over of the government. Something nobody sees coming. Galaxy is in chaos, everyone's drawn away in some battle away from the Core and next thing you know, droids decide to take over. I think it would make for an awesome story arc, Droid Revolution. Plus we haven't seen much, if any, from R2 or C3PO.

On page 382, Gotab says "I have healed brain injuries before..." - I am hoping this means Fi and that he will get better.
