My phone has a lightsaber on it. This is a good thing.

The Ravens won last night. This is also good.

My new niece smiled at me. Once again, awesome.

This was a good weekend.

I passed my language exam! Now all I have to do is fill out the paper work, format my thesis to be bound and I can get my Master's degree in May. Very Happy

Congrats, Salaris. Smile

Mardi Gras is next week! Even thought the festivities aren't really my thing, I'll take the three days off school.

So after a week of illness, being carted off to hospital with a suspected broken ankle/leg and getting turned down for a couple of interviews, I've managed to get myself a new job. Will be working in a data centre for one of the big universities dealing with the servers Very Happy

^How's your leg/ankle doing man? You play football/soccer if I remember things correctly, so that can't be good.

Had an awesome workout at the gym today, finished The Hunger Games and put the last touches on my Anakin/Darth Vader sketch.

So far it's a pretty good day. Smile

Still waiting to hear final result, thanks for asking. Lots of bruising from bottom of my foot to lower leg, waiting for a results of a scan to see if I've torn my ankle ligaments. Thankfully not broken. If I have torn the ligaments that's 3 months out easily, potentially an operation if it's bad enough. Wasn't even a bad tackle that caused it, just a tangle of legs with a defender, we both fell over, my leg got trapped underneath us and he landed on it whilst it was bent at a dodgy angle.

So author Kevin Hearne (he'll be writing the upcoming Rebels Luke book) had a cool little contest where fans put together nerdscapes and sent the photos in to win stuff. The nerdscapes had to include books, food, and toys. It was probably the funnest contest I've ever entered and a great idea all around.

Anyways, I got 2nd place Very Happy

I'll have to post my photo when I get home.

@Skuldren: Please do! And congrats!

Looking good in a new haircut today. Just glad it didn't turn out to be a disaster. Cool

My buddy and I signed our lease yesterday, I've packed up a ton of my books (a 27 gallon tub won't hold my SW stuff...) and bought a few things we need. Now all I need is a tv stand, internet, and a couch and life will be set!
