Let me put it this way:
Once you start down the Fantasy Football Path, forever will it dominate your destiny...
Just kidding. Basically, Fantasy Football is a statistics game. You get to have a Live Draft (which you don't have to attend, it will just pick the best available player if you don't) and choose your team. The game is a point system based on what the players do in real life. Let's say Drew Brees (Go Saints ) throws three touchdowns in week one of the real NFL Season. That will give your team, maybe 30 points, if touchdowns are 10 points apiece, for week one of the Fantasy Season. Meanwhile, you are matched up against another person and their team. After all real games are played, whoever ends up with the most points wins that week. You play for 14 weeks, against different teams, and the same point system each week. Then you get three weeks of playoffs, leading to a winner!
It may sound confusing, but it's really, really easy. In the simplest form, you just pick your team and then let them go each week, hoping to get more points. You can change your lineup around and stuff, but you don't have to. It can be very easy and simple. Or it can be hardcore. Depends on how much time you want to spend.
