Agh! Super-duper, majorly major, ridiculously huge SPOILERS! Please proceed at your own risk, and I really, really mean that.
This is a blurb for Conviction, which already gives away practically the entire happenings of Vortex! I mistakenly listened to it, thinking it to be the blurb for Vortex, and I would suggest that unless you want to know the outcome of everything in Vortex, do not read this blurb! But...everyone should at least have the chance to know, if they really want to:

In this installment of the bestselling Fate of the Jedi series, the evil entity called Abeloth is on the run, but still not giving up its plans to destroy the galaxy. Despite the almost-friendship between Ben Skywalker and the Sith apprentice Vestara, the Jedi and Sith have dropped all pretenses of cooperation, and each side is making plans to rout the other.
And on Coruscant, ex-Jedi Tahiri Veila awaits sentencing for the crime of treason, and although they've effectively removed Chief of State Natasi Daala from power, the Jedi Council is in no position to help...

Okay, so you obviously read the blurb despite my warnings. And see, I was right! Ah, ha! Abeloth is not dead!
Also, Daala out of power?

I was suspicious of this happening at some point in the series. Surely she couldn't stick it out for too long, but I didn't think it would happen as early as Vortex! Makes me happy, though.
Wow, I'm looking forward to this book! Can't believe we have so long to wait, though.
So, now that we all know what happens in Vortex...discuss!
