The movies I want to see being released this spring, in order of how bad I want to see them:

1. Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
2. The Dark Knight
3. Iron Man
4. Prince Caspian

I'm not sure if I want to see Wall E. Pixar movies are usually pretty good, but the previews haven't really impressed me that much.

There are movies I want to see sooner than others, but they're not coming out that way so I'll just see things as they come out. So far, I don't think any come out the same day so I won't worry about that Very Happy

I just saw a preview for The Dark Knight. Looks really cool, definitely made it to my list of things I want to see. It looks like they brought back most/all of the original cast which is good.

The Dark Knight looks amazing and even darker than the original. This movie is either going to do very well or very badly. It all rests on the Joker I think.

I've heard that one of the things that he does is say "Why so serious?" before actually carving a smile into someone's face.

Scenes like that will make or break this movie so I can't wait to see it.

I had doubts with Heath Ledger as Joker when I first heard that news but the teaser trailer and the first trailer really did give me confidence that the Joker will make the movie. I still wouldn't mind seeing something of Harvey Dent to see how he'll be but a new trailer comes out Monday!

I guess the real trick though will be making it original enough that it doesn't give the impression of a complete rip-off of the original Batman movie that had the Joker as the main nemesis. That's probably my main concern, not that it won't be well done but that it just won't be very original.

The new Batman trailer is out! Very Happy

Very cool. Can't wait to see it in the theater, AND see what Two Face looks like.

Two Face isn't actually going to be in this one... just Harvey Dent, who turns into Two Face much later.

I saw Iron Man lat Sunday. Great movie.

I saw the Dark Knight trailer. It was much too "real" in my opinion. I'll eventually, probably see it, but I am sticking with Prince Caspian. Speaking of trailers, get a load of this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VqzYukVDqy4

and this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xLvwGcW8urw

Much better than the Dark Knight trailers.

Did anyone hear about Toy Story 3? Shocked Apparently Andy's in college, and the toys get dumped in a daycare center. Laughing

What? WHAT! Narnia better than Batman?!?

What do you mean by too "real?" It looks pretty awsome to me.

Now if you really want to start a fight, how about Indiana Jones vs Prince Caspian vs Batman...who would win?

Movie wise I want to see Indy and Batman, looking forward to both. Combat wise I have to give it to Batman, he does have a bullet proof suit after all. Very Happy

Now if you threw Iron Man into the mix you'd have a regular royal rumble.

Indy would win hands down. He'd either 1) shoot you (like the sword guy in Raiders) 2) send you falling to your death by crocodile (Temple of Doom) 3) sending you careening to your death in some sort of vehicle (Raiders and Last Crusade) 4) just generally kick but with his fists and/or whip. But then again I'm kind of biased towards Harrison Ford characters aren't I *points at avatar* Razz

Edit: I was just listening to the trailer of The Dark Knight and couldn't help thinking that the music sounds a lot like the score from Pirates of the Caribbean. I checked IMDB and found out Hans Zimmer did do the score to the new Batman. Just thought that was a nifty detail I'd mention in case anyone else is into movie scores.

Speed Racer is out today. Unsure whether I'm going to see it or not, but it's likely since my future stepdad is a big Speed fan.

Iron Man would win. Firt off, he's got a bullet-proof, flying super-strength suit, and he's a genius weapon designer. Batman would come in second, with his bullet-prooj suit and gadgets, and Indy would come in third. Caspian would get his backside handed to him by any of the other three.
