Has anyone met any Star Wars V.I.Ps? I've met Peter Mayhew, Steve Sansweet, and David Prowse. I just put Sansweet's name in there so it would look like I've met more people; he doesn't count. Though he did ask me about EUCantina (based off my shirt). Love ya Sansweet! Wink

Also, does anyone have any autographs? I only grabbed Mayhew's, on a nice matted Han and Chewie pick. My goal at CV is to add Harrison Ford's autograph to it, if he is there.

If we are counting online, I have also spoken with Drew K., John Jackson Miller, Katie Cook, and Jennifer Hale. But in a Skype call. EUCast can have its benefits. Very Happy

Steve is pretty famous among fans, and I count all authors/artists for sure. Since CV, my list grows to:

Dave Filoni
Chris Trevas
Daniel Wallace
Chris Reiff
Pablo Hildalgo

I stood two feet away from the entire voice cast of TCW after their panel, but they were walking by and I wasn't going to stop them.

thats cool! unfortunatly i havent met any of the regular cast for clone wars yet, except for matt wood. even though they're #1 on my list of people to meet.

i'm kinda jealous you got to meet Dan Wallace, the essential chronology book was my best friend in middle school

Does standing 10 feet from Anthony Daniels count?

If not, it certainly ought to.

None for me. My last trip to disney I saw the t-shirts for star wars week and the wife shot me down before I even got it out of my mouth. She will not let me take the kids out of school so I could be there.

I got Peter Mayhew's autograph once, but other than that, I haven't met anyone. I've seen plenty of SW stars at Star Wars Weekends, though.

I met Leonard Nimoy in Boston about 22 years ago and then again about 3 years later. I remember thinking afterwards, "What are the odds of randomly bumping into the guy who played Spock twice? Probably pretty slim."

Both times he was shooting a piece for some show or other he was doing at the time. Both times I managed to catch him without a big crowd around him and got to chat with him for a few minutes. The second time I think he was bored and actually we chat for more than a few minutes and he remembered me from the last time we spoke. He was a really cool, down to earth guy.

It was so long ago now I couldn't even remember what we talked about. I do remember trying like hell to ask him about what he was there working on and not to just jump into Star Trek fan questions. He seemed to appreciate that.

Anyway, wrong franchise for this thread but I thought I'd share the story.
