In all seriousness though, that would be very cool. Obviously it couldnt be in Old Republic times as that would not make sense with TOR so close to release, but how about a time period after the movies take place? RPG's are the best game genre hands down, no contest. *crossing fingers in hope for a new one*

Salaris Vorn Moderator Joined: 02 Feb 2008 Posts: 2039 Location: New York, USA Well for me what I'd really like is for them to update the X-Wing series. Heck I'd be happy if all they did was updated the graphics of the original X-Wing and rereleased it for new windows systems. I hope they take some of the classic games and make new editions to those series. _________________

I'd be for that as the Sagas- with it hitting major EU battles from Kotor NJO to Legacy have it all space battles though. Kotor- Basalisks! Mandos Vs.. Sith vs. Jedi vs Republic! NJO- Vong! I remember playing JediAcademy online, that was Seriously AMAZING. I loved it. StarWarsBattlefront was cool...battlefront2 wasnt that gud imo=( The game was \faster/ in Sw-BF2, which made the snipers useless=/ Anyways...SW-BF3 wud be cool...I hope they seriosly support the multiplayer this time around. SW hasnt been giving its games enuf Multiplayer support=( Modding tools, Mapping tools, etc, to date the best light-saber combat has been seen in The Jedi Academy. I hope they improve on that. I find Yoda's first quote in the trailer to be interesting: "Death is a natural part of life." I also saw a source tell Kotaku that this game will be everything TFU I was supposed to be. But, who knows. I need more info.

I loved TFU1...The First Mission wid Vader...ooh i cud feeeel te power of te darkSIDE Whose developing the game??...u can usually tell what its goin to be like For Example...If Bioware is developing it u can expect an AMAZING STORY. (Jade Empire. DragonAge being just a few examples=D) If InfinityWard is u can expect a 60$ game...add to that Downloadable components that u hav to pay for...etc etc...pure extortion=@ Man i hate IW now after MW2=@ k now im just ranting...but i just hope they hand it to some decent guys who care abt the PC!!!...cuz TFU released on the PC after a LONG time...and it was a DISASTER...WORST PORT EVER!!! _________________

But, who knows. I need more info. Me too. The point of TFU 1 was his sacrifice and being tied to the rebellion. Keeping him alive is going to tarnish that story a little. While cool the scene of him walking down the hall tearing things up- I hope there is an explanation- that it's not something he does regularly. That boy is a walking trail of destruction.... The Rancor Tosser- was that a HUGE Gundark?! Yeah that was a goof and not supposed to be in the final game..." I think it would be a lot better if they had it exploring some time after Episode 6 with a new character. As it is now they are either going to be retconing their own game or doing some cheap "expansion pack" style where they address the missions he went on but weren't in the first game. Either way it isn't an ideal combination for a sequel. _________________
