I'm holding out hope for there being a sect of pacifist mando's and then the whole other crew of mando's we know and love. The pacifists can be from their Mandalore, while the other's can be from the Mandalore from the books. And then if they each consider themselves true mandos, that would explain why they each consider their planet mandalore. |
That's what I'm hoping too. When I say this I don't want to pry into Karen Travis' personal life, but I almost wonder if TCW wasn't the only problem? I'm not going to speculate because, frankly, it isn't our buisness. I'm just wondering if TCW messed up Mando continuity as much as we're fearing. I haven't actually read any Commando books (I'll start soon, I swear), but I have a strong feeling I'll grow very attached to them and won't want to see the characters left hanging. So I say if any author wants to pick up Karen Travis' mantle (just please not Denning), then, I say, all power to them. _________________
