kurtdc Master Joined: 15 May 2008 Posts: 602 Location: boston Well, doesn't the team of the three writers and the sw people(sue, etc) go over the general them of the series and major plotlines. I don't know that it can pointed to troy that Jacen must die. That was a team thing.

Denning, however, was the one who pushed for the death instead of making Caedus a recurring bad guy. _________________ Perfection is a lifelong pursuit requiring sacrifice. I was hoping for a parallel with Ulic Qel-Droma. Jacen going Sith, but then after saving the galaxy living in what he'd done in exile woulda been interesting. He hit a level of power that only Luke or Jaina or Anakin could've rivaled and him in hiding restarting the Rule of Two would've been interesting. But Denning needed death. Denning couldn't be picked for IC2....but there certainly are many others. See everytime I heard that all I thought was "bring him back" like they did when Jacen and Tahiri went back to SBS. The ability itself couldn't "bring" a person physically to the future.
