So, today CW Gambit: Stealth is released, Karen Miller's second EU novel. I haven't checked it out yet but as soon as I'm done with this post I plan on leaving to pick it up at B&N. Very Happy

Has anyone else checked it out? How are you guys liking it?

I did like Wildspace so I should probably go buy this one...however, I'm not really motivated to do so yet. Any ideas on who is starring in this one? (Last time is was Obi-Wan and Bail, and from the cover, it looks like Obi-Wan will certainly be back in action)

I know Lok Durd is in it. Don't n=know if that will do anything to hype it though. Wink

I enjoyed Stealth very much, which was big for me since I hated Wild Space. I just started Siege, which is the second part of the Clone Wars Gambit series, and it's quite good so far.

I still haven't checked this one out yet, but now that the sequel to this one's cliff hanger ending is out, I'm a little bit more motivated Cool

So one thing about this book I'm really loving...

The POV of Darth Sidious.

When it first showed up in The Clone Wars, I was hesitant because the books never mentioned that Palpatine and Sidious were one and the same. Only Darth Maul: Shadow Hunter came close to that revelation. And even though I already know it, I feel like if the books are read in chronological order then it takes away from the mystery and surprise.

That said, now I'm digging it. I'd love to get a look at the prequels through Sidious's eyes. How he found and trained not only Darth Maul, but also Count Dooku. I think it'd be pretty cool.

Finished this one. As a whole, I enjoyed it.
