For the record they weren't "Aliens" but "extra-dimensional beings" - seriously that title is how he dodged them being Aliens.

Yes GL is splitting hairs once more Laughing

Cause I couldn't tell you the difference between Aliens from space and Aliens from another dimension.....

Perhaps, please explain more- don't forget I'm a Trekkie too (Like my Father before me- it's his fault and I rebelled and followed Wars)

But Trek has Aliens multi dimensions and the like, as does SW. So I'm missing the difference aside form where SW plays with Clones more Trek does Time and dimension travel

But both concepts are in each universe.

I don't recall any dimension travel in Star Wars. My point was simply that Trek dabbles in inter/extra dimensional travel, while Star Wars does not. But if I'm forgetting some dimensional dabbling on Star Wars' part, then my point is moot, and I take it back. Wink

Ah- yeah it wasn't much- in Force Heritic when Luke and Jacen and co traveled into the unknown regions looking for Sekot they encountered a sector of space where their galaxy and one from another dimension are colliding.

As well as Waru the extra dimensional being who came for a different dimension with the "Anti-Force"

Like I said, not MUCH use of it in SW but it's there just the same.

As with Trek- they have clones but we've only seen them used once or twice, Wars has Dimension stuff they leave alone BUT COULD USE...

Well the difference between an Alien and an Extra-Dimensional Being is that one is from another planet, and the other is from another dimension. An extra-dimensional being could be a human from Earth but from another dimension.

And I had no idea that anyone tried to dodge there being aliens in Indy IV by calling them something different. Seems silly. I have no problem with aliens being in it, but I do hope they don't pop up in the next one. That would be over doing it.

I had no issue with the aliens/whatevers but I agree that I would like to see them go in a different direction if they make another. Still going to say that Kingdom is better than the mess known as Temple of Doom.

I need a little help with Young Indiana Jones. I'm planning to start buying the season sets soon, and I'm trying to get my hands on the few novelizations as well.

From what I can tell, the novelizations look like this:

Random House:

1. The Mummy's Curse adapts

2. Safari Sleuth adapts British East Africa, September 1909.

3. Race to Danger adapts Princeton, February 1916.

4. Prisoner of War adapts The Somme, August 1916 and Germany, August 1916.

5. Field of Death adapts Verdun, September 1916.

6. The Mata Hari Affair partially adapts Verdun as well as Paris, October 1916.

7. Trek of Doom adapts German East Africa, December 1916.

8. The Secret Peace adapts Vienna (or Austria), March 1917.

9. Revolution! adapts Petrograd, December 1917.

Fantail:

1. The River of Death adapts German East Africa, Decemebr 1916 and Congo, January 1917.

2. The Day of Destiny adapts Verdun, September 1916.

3. The Secret Treaty adapts Austria (or Vienna), March 1917.

4. The Rule of Russia adapts Petrograd, Decemeber 1917.

For the most part, I intended to buy the Random House adaptations. However, should I:

1. Skip Field of Death since The Mata Hari Affair also includes Verdun?

2. Skip Trek of Doom since Fantail's The River of Death also includes Congo?

Thanks for your input.
