Well for anyone whose interested, I posted Part One of my story Dirt Tripper in the Creative Works. If you want, you can post comments here.
This is my first attempt to write a long, full length story that is free from Star Wars. I've been spending a long time on it, slowly pouring more and more into it as the feeling hits me. I think it's coming along pretty good as I'm now seeing the end in sight and I know how I'm going to get there, finally. For a while there, I wasn't sure how to wrap things up as I already knew how I wanted things to end, I just wasn't sure how it would escalate to that point.
Of course, there's always the possibility that the end might change. It's certainly not set in stone. I always like to dive into my characters' heads and see where it takes me. However, I think I know how this one is going to go.
