We’d like to thank everyone who sent in questions for James, and we look forward to our next interview.
A little while back, Sue Rostoni gave us a hint that the “Untitled Game Novel” could be connected to the upcoming “Star Wars: The Old Republic” MMO. Well, now it seems she’s basically confirmed it. Sue was asked,
“Will you guys consider doing something with Del Rey/Dark Horse so that us unfortunate souls that don’t play MMO’s don’t miss out on the epic story?”
To which she replied,
“Yes, this is part of the plan. A novel will come out sometime around the game release time and that’s all that’s been determined so far. I’ll let you know as things develop.”
Very, very interesting– we will keep you informed on any information on this as it develops.

PC Gamer magazine recently got an exclusive look at Star Wars: The Old Republic. You can find the article in their Holiday 2008 issue, now available at your local magazine retailers.
They also talked about TOR on their latest podcast, which you can find here.
Update: PC Gamer sister site, Computer and Video Games (CVG), has what looks to be the entire article on their site.
On the Starwars.com forums, Sue Rostoni recently commented on her VIP thread about the cover art for the upcoming Blood Oath:
“We received the “final” cover art yesterday, but one of the other characters on the cover had to have her blaster changed — it looked too earth-bound, so we’re having it changed to a more Star Wars hold-out blaster style. Dave Seeley is painting the cover, and it looks awesome — At first glance it looks a bit like a romance novel cover, but don’t let that put you off. The cover features Zekk up front, with two women in the background… Hapan women… women you may remember from a previous LotF novel… oh, I just spilled my coffee — hang on a moment…“
Great teaser for the cover to be sure. From the sound of things it seems like the two women she’s speaking of are the Zel sisters, Trista and Taryn, who some of you might remember from the last LOTF book Invincible. But we can’t be sure until we see the actual cover.
